I've been sort of resigned to this happening ever since I was a little kid -- my dad and many male relatives all had lost their hair in their 30s. It's kind of ironic...I have curly hair and as a little kid I hated it because I was teased so about it. Now that I'm older and grown to actually like it, it's disappearing. I'm not broken up over it all. I have too much else to offer a woman who is perceptive enough to notice so I don't bemoan my falling hairs. Believe in your quality and attractiveness as a person and it will shine through. Don't apologize for it or try to hide it. Be yourself and believe that is sufficient. If it is hard to explain to a guy that hair doesn't mean much, have him check out the first Star Trek motion picture. Persis Khambatta (sp?) went without hair in the whole picture, but was absolutely beautiful because she acted as if that was a perfectly normal way to be (exposure of those nice legs didn't hurt either). You are what you believe you are, and if you believe you are unattractive you will be less attractive than if you think positively. Really. Some random points: Keep your hair short. It looks better. Growing it long and trying to comb it over the bald spots just looks silly. Grow a beard, but keep it neat. (How many women out there like a soft, well-groomed beard on a male? Like how (and where) it tickles?) Reflect on the fact that you could have saved your hair if you had been castrated at a young age. Aren't hormones wonderful? Actually, this is just fate's way of catching up with you -- as a kid of 13 or so you would have given anything to get balled.
