On the other hand, I have been approached on the street (or in a relatively secluded area) and I started considering escape routes and scanning the area for pick-up weapons. (Much the way I suppose a woman (who is as paranoiac on the street as me) would react to a situation that looks like rape.) My ex-step-brother used to be proud of how he "punched queers' lights out" when they tried to pick him up.
