Does he steer clear of masturbators and couples who perform oral sex? Does he avoid women who are on the pill because they are avoiding their "God-given" roles as breeders? Get off it, Mike! Geez... what a bunch of righteous, self-satisfied mumbo jumbo. And he doesn't even have to justify his comments with *reason* because he pulled religious arguments out of the sky. What is natural? Nobody know the origins of homosexuality, least of all Mike Konopik. His arguments are insensitive about gays making their presence known by setting up tables, etc. Everyone knows gay men and women have a harder time meeting other gays than straight people have meeting each other. The regular, daily outlets aren't there. It seems like a few posters or whatever is a good idea to get people together. We should try to be more humane about things like this and treat people like people. Mike Konopik is just voicing his own emotional, personal fears. Don't gays have just as much right to the pleasures and conveniences of society as Konopik does? Maybe it's time we had a net.gaysingles so that gay people on the net could meet each other.
