Lines: 17 Since I have accounts on at least eight machines, my prompt is the current machine name. Not very original, but useful. There used to be a blind programmer in my department, who had a Votrax unit attached to his terminal. Every once in a while, one of us would sneak into his office (he invariably left his terminal logged on whenever he left the office) and change his prompt to something like "shoobeedoowah" or "^Gdong," which the Votrax would pronounce as "ding dong."
