well , folks , the summer is almost over ,
today i saw the first yellow leaf on a tree . my neighbor argues it's 
dioxin , but i digress..
the sure signs of fall rapidly approaching :
	the increased number of articles signed with decidedly student
id's (hdcs4563 etc.)
	the ( soon ) reposting of netiquette
	the annual collection of "new" lightbulb jokes ( oh , i hope not ,
		sighes my disk drive )
	and , the surest sign of all , the first article from Lady Arwen 
	since the spring ......
