Personnel change, people go on and off disabled lists, etc. The Yankees have the same advantage in that they could have people rested who weren't before. I see no problem. As a matter of fact, there once was an interesting similar situation involving a suspended game. A game was suspended after seven and a half (I don't recall why) with the game tied. Later in the season, the two pitchers were traded for each other. When the game was resumed, the managers used the same pitchers, only now for the opposite teams. The home team scored in the bottom of the seventh, and remained in the lead. Consequently, the pitcher who is now with the visitors both won and lost the game.
