Lines: 20 1. Nolan Ryan has the most carreer no-hitters - 5. 2. Back in the mid-60s, Jim Maloney pitched 2 no-hitters of 10 innings in length. However, he lost one of them in the 11th inning, as well as the game. 3. Bob Feller had the most 1-hitters, 14! 4. A couple years after VanderMeers double no-hit, it was almost duplicated by Ewell (the whip) Blackwell. He had 8 and 2/3 innings of no-hit ball in his next appearance after tossing a no-hitter, but gave up a hit with 2 out in the 9th. Larry Bickford had 3 of 4.
