The last real word I heard about college football was about Greg Pratt, the fullback from Auburn(starter), who died from heat stroke two to three days ago. Originally, it was thought to be caused by heat attack. Since Auburn was pick so high in the pre-season polls(top three in most), I wonder if this would cause a big problem for them. I haven't read anything about what effects this may have on the performance of the team as a whole. I finally saw a poll that knew what it was talking about, well sort of anyway. They pick Washington as #19(GO HUSKIES). As far as they were concerned, their early games against Michigan and LSU would tell us about how good they are. If you notice, the PAC-10 this year seems to be opening the season as the ultimate football conference that it is. Arizona, Arizona State, UCLA, USC and Washington are ranked in the top twenty. Also, as I mentioned earlier, Washington State will be a surprise team this year, look for them in a post-season bowl game. Any Big-10 fans out there??????? Eat your hearts out. COME ON YOU PEOPLE LETS LIVEN UP THIS NEWSGROUP!!!!!
