Do you remember Serino Jones who traded close to and sometimes into Klingon territory, and Bones' bottle of Romulin ale that he gave to Kirk in TWoK and said that a merchant friend of his picks it up. I'm sure that some literature, books, magazines, video tapes, propaganda, travel brouchures get across the zone in both directions by some devious means or another.
