San Diego, CS Dept Lines: 17 My girlfriend and I are planning to spend a week tenting in the Sequoia Nat'l Forest during August/September, and I would be most interested in any recommendations of campgrounds, local trails worth taking etcetera. As of right now, I hope to get a site on the East side of the forest, as the mosquitoes are quite bad this time of year (not to mention the ever-present bears!) and these lessen to the East. Also, as I have not been camping for many years, what other stuff should I be sure to include (such as rain-gear, etc)? Thanks! -- Dave Taylor
