My parents and some relatives from Brazil are planning a long trip 
through the western states of the US and the southwestern provinces 
of Canada beginning on Sep 10.

In helping them to plan their itinerary, I would appreciate receiving 
any tips on places to stay, restaurants and "must see" as well as 
"must avoid" places in the following areas:

Napa Wine country, Portland, Seattle, Olympic Peninsula, Vancouver BC., 
Vancouver Island, Victoria,  and the following national/provincial parks:
Banff, Jasper, Glacier, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Brice Canyon, Zion
and the Grand Canyon. 

Any information I receive in this regard will be greatly appreciated.
