Now I'd like to help out on the original question, that of
remembering the theme songs from the old Marvel superhero
cartoons.  I only recall a line here and there, but perhaps 
they will serve to further jog someone ELSE's memory.

Sub-Mariner: "...is Namor of Atlantis (or something) and the 
             Prince of the Sea." (really, the last line is all
             I remember)

Captain America: "When Captain America throws his mighty shield..."

Iron Man: not a glimmer...

Thor: ditto

Hulk: "Doc Bruce Banner,
      Belted by gamma rays,
      Turns into the Hulk,
      Isn't he (glamourous?)..."

I wish I knew more (don't we all!); as I say, it's the
kind of thing I'd recognize, but...Hope someone else has more luck.
