I've always loved gadgets (I'm using one of my favorite gadgets right now!) and those puppet shows really appealed to me because (a) they had a lot of neat gadgets and (b) even the people were gadgets! I don't remember which images in my memory are from which shows, except for those things that have been discussed here, but I remember that in one of these shows there was a tank-like vehicle in which the driver sat facing the rear and saw the road ahead on a TV monitor. I always thought that that was a ridiculously impractical arrangement and couldn't find any valid purpose for it. Is there something I missed? Does anyone know why the vehicle was designed this way?
