Or so I heard a year ago. Laura mentions the villain Simon Bar Sinister from Underdog. "Bar Sinister" is a term from heraldry that refers to a bar across the shield from upper right to lower left, and was used in medieval times as an indication of bastardry (you took the coat of arms of your father with a bar sinister). So we can translate Simon Bar Sinister into Simon the Bastard, which I always thought was a pretty clever thing to slip past the censors.
