Not so!  Another series in which someone met a violent death in the
teaser of *every* show was "Police Squad"!  In fact, a major star met a
grisly end in the *titles* of each show, in his/her one and only
appearance on the show...

Great show, "Police Squad."  The creators (also the creators of
"Airplane!") went to my high school, and there were at least two
Milwaukee in-jokes in each episode.
