I believe Robert Vaughn, of U.N.C.L.E. fame, also starred in another
British spy series called "The Protectors".  This show was on in the
Chicago area in 1972-3 and Vaughn's co-star was Nyree Dawn Porter.
I think Tom Jones sang the theme song played at the end of the show.
