Does anyone out there have any idea if an SI-9700 tape controller
attached to an 11/780 via an SBI I/F would be recognized by both
VMS and UNIX Sys 5.0 ?

We currently have the SI UNIBUS I/F for the 9700 controller.  It appears
only UCB 4.x BSD UNIX will work with that controller thru the UBA.
VMS will work only after patching in a fix supplied by SI, after a
system pack has been created; and UNIX Sys 5.0 has no UBA interface.
