They mail requests to the primary distribution address, and *poof*, out it goes. This is irritating, but it would be more irritating if the redistribution of unix-wizards was delayed by having a human in the loop to filter out the crud. USENET people can feel content that NETNEWS presently offers a better NEWS/BBOARD service than currently exists on the ARPANET. However, my experience with USENET is that the content is generally masked by a much higher level of "noise". Grin and bare it (sic)!
