[] Must support ~6 users, possibly doing simultaneous edits or text preparation work, without killing the machine. [] Would prefer using existing terminal base (Tandberg 2220's), but will consider purchasing others. Blits(tm) and SUN(tm) types are probably out of the price range. [] Must be capable of at least two vertical windows (side-by-side). [] Would prefer source to binary. [] Must be able to be used by text editor/preparation people, i.e. should have paragraph search, next sentence, etc. or the ability to program in such features into soft-keys (a la EMACS). [] Would be nice if it knew how to handle foreign language character sets either by switching context or as hacks to fit in bits unused by ASCII in 8 bit characters. This gets back to why source would be desirable. [] Support would be nice. [] And is if that isn't enough of a dream, it should be reasonably priced. Basically, if someone has hacked "vi" to do 2 windows, I'd be thrilled. Much obliged in advance, Richard L. Maus, Jr. (Rick) ATTIS(@BTL) HO 1K313 201-834-4532 ...!ho???!ariel!rick
