Well, Professor Abeles, aren't you being somewhat (like a lot)
heavy-handed (mouthed) to someone who asked a simple question.
As far as I know, it is not a requirement in most Computer Science
courses for people to be expert EE types.  Whether or not you
think it was a naive stupid question, it was asked, and as far as
I am concerned, most learning occurs by asking questions and
reading.  You could have saved yourself from reading flames and
mail by patiently answering the question.
