I'd say the men shouting and carrying on about net.women.only is exactly
the reason the newsgroup is needed... I vote in favor.  To use the net.singles
analogy, can you imagine what it would be like if some married religious
nut were to try to use that newsgroup to denounce all of single people's
problems and concerns as unnecessary, if not downright immoral?  Suppose 
80% of the contributors to net.singles were like that?  We could definitely
use a net.women.only (where the men could try being a little quieter,
if not completely silent)  Come on guys!  You don't have to verbally
abuse everything women are interested in!
