A friend had severe cramps (popping codeine like candy), until she went on the Pill. However, she did not like some of the side effects and health risks associated with the Pill. After reading the above book, she started taking Motrin (sp?) just a few days each month, and completely controlled her cramps. Motrin is also an anti-prostaglandin like aspirin and the others mentioned in Steve Dyer's article in net.women.only. I think I recently heard that Motrin will be available over-the-counter soon - can anyone confirm this?
