Berkeley Computer Science Lines: 17 >From GEOFF5@SRI-CSL Sat Sep 10 18:49:38 1983 Recently, I installed a copy of Kermit on a VAX running Berkeley Unix version 4, the program works fine when transporting files from the PC to the VAX, but does not work in the other direction -- it timed out on waiting for an initial acknowledgment from the PC. Has anyone out there encountered such a problem or similar ones? If so, any idea on fixing it? Would appreciate any infomation on this. If not, I'll have to read through the Kermit documentation and protocols manual, which is a little too time consuming for me. Comments, suggestions etc, please forward to Wmt@MIT-XX.
