Through the dependable years with my Thorens, I have been forced to live with the problem of the sound going 'soft' towards the end of some of my 'hotter' cut albums (high frequency sounds get muddled). I think that advancements in tonearms, cartridges, etc. may solve this problem. I took a listen to a couple of B&O radial tracking turntables with MMC4 and MMC2 cartridges and was quite pleased with the results. Does anyone in netland have anything good or bad to say about B&O TT's and cartridges or alternate suggestions. I can spend about $300 for a cartridge and TT. Steve Fintel trsvax!jsf007 P.S. My Thorens is for sale... $125 for turntable, Shure M97HE, and Thorens TP25 tonearm.
