C. Berkeley Computer Science Lines: 7 IFF (in the U.S.) is based on standard transponder protocols (at one flavor of it is). That's why you never dial 0000 into your transponder. You might trigger an IFF response to a military aircraft, but you wouldn't have the correct additional information.
