It relies on a system of internal gyroscopes and accelerometers to determine its position (via double integration). As such, it cannot be jammed. I seriously doubt that US military flights would rely on Soviet navigation aids when flying ferret missions near their borders. Has anyone else heard the rumor that Richard Nixon was scheduled to be aboard the flight, but had to cancel because of his wife's illness? Jan Wolitzky, AT&T Bell Laboratories, Murray Hill, NJ
