I have a need to understand the internals and the functionalities of 
high speed datasets (56000 to 9600 bps). 
I am also quite ignorant about line conditioning requirements and
the choice of Channel Interface Units for these datasets.
Could someone offer me pointers to books or documents on these subjects?
