	Though I agree that there are many cyclists that abuse the privilege of
riding on streets, I must say that there are far too many motorists who abuse
their privilege of driving on the streets at the expense of the former.
	About a month ago, Jocelyn(sp) Lovell, one of Canada's premier cycle
racers (road and track) was hit by a truck while on a training ride.   He now
sits in hospital a quadiplegic.  What of the truck driver?   Who knows, he did
not stick around.   What of Lovell's frame building business?  Who knows?
	If only drivers would not drive on 'automatic', if they would only
shoulder check.   Why not make the same effort that a racing cyclist does when
he is riding in a pack?   Strive for predictability, look before you move, make
signals.
