It seems to me to give a strong argumet against. As the incident unfolded, no-one actually died (though somebody might have been killed). If both sides had guns, I doubt that the attacker would have been the only dead person after the incident. The incident just goes to prove how important it is that the only guns owned by people are those owned illegally by criminals or properly by police and army. Martin Taylor
