Karl,
	you are damn lucky you did not get killed by a police-man.
	and you are able to tell the story with pride and don't seem
	to recognize how much your behavior worsened the whole affair.

	Scenario:  a neighbor sees you and gets his gun to "disarm"
		you.  Another calls the cops telling them about a
		bunch of "crazies" running around armed.  the police
		comes with reinforcements and the probability of
		someone ending up getting shot increases exponentially.

Good grief,  it is enough to despair over the pattern of these events.
