I thought that this was America, the land of the free, freedom to choose what's right for your life, and all that. I thing Americans should have the right to CHOOSE whether they want to indulge in drugs or not. If drugs are decriminalized, that's not saying that a person MUST take them; their right to not take drugs wouldn't be infringed upon. But with drugs criminalized, a person MAY NOT indulge; their rights HAVE been infringed upon. Face it, there's no inherent wrong or right in indulging in drugs. The choice should be left to the people. Summing up, GOVERNMENT SHOULD NOT DICTATE THE CHOICE TO BE MADE, BUT RATHER ACCOMMODATE EITHER CHOICE MADE. (Isn't that obvious???)
