Lines: 12 Perhaps hobby was not the right word. But you *by your own choice* ride your bicycle to work. Since you have opted for a counter-culture mechanism (don't get me wrong, I am devoutly weird also, and cherish that freedom) you must morally and ethically endeavor to minimize the impact of that choice upon the mainstream of humanity, with which you must share this earth... I am glad to hear of at least one cyclist who believes in stopsigns and red lights. Sadly, too many people either treat cycling as a hobby or take the standard cop-out "but who's going to stop me?". When I lived a few miles from work some years ago I would cycle to work also. I was once pulled over by a policeman while cycling. He said I was too close to the center of the road....
