Speak for yourself. cynic isn't the right word.  the word I usually use
is disgusted.


As an aside, I think you greatly err in assuming that Reagan will
call out the troops to shoot the college students.  It's Jesse
Helms, Strom Thurmond, and Jerry Falwell that you need to worry about.
As far as I've seen, Reagan hasn't given them anything since he
was elected.  <He has certainly been to the right on some issues,
but I don't think that he's shifted more right, of course...
on the 1100 news, we'll find out otherwise, I suppose...>  I think
that the less support Reagan gets from the middle, the more he is likely
to think that he will HAVE to cater to the far right.  Think about
it.  Instead of running around telling us how bad Reagan is, why don't
you attack the REAL totalitarians?
