ABSOLUTELY correct! And there is absolutely nothing to prevent them from doing so in a "capitalist" society. Charity and volunteer groups are examples of this. But if people are to cooperate, and they don't want to do so just for the fun of it, there are only two ways left. Either they work freely in exchange for something tangible that they want (money), or they work under threat of force (conscription). I like the first of these two.
