If you get any effective suggestions for stopping the problem of dog
shit being spread all over a neighborhood because a few SOBs cannot
keep their animals on a leash and refuse to clean up after them, please
PLEASE pass them on to the net (or, at least to me by mail).  I also am
getting more and more hacked off at the heaps of Great Dane and German
Shepherd manure (surely a poodle does not have such prodigious
capacity!) that I keep encountering in my lawn.  A related problem is
returning late at night to home and encountering a pack of BIG dogs
when I leave my car to unlock the garage door.  I have been toying with
the idea of keeping a .38 in the glove compartment to deal with this
particular problem.
