	Nor do I, at least, feel that the life of a criminal is worth

Thank you for saying this.  I value the victim's life.  I also value the
criminal's life, and this is where I seem to part company with the pro-gun
lobby.

They weren't very good company anyway, with their simple-minded, good guys /
bad guys, view of the world.
