The word just came over the radio (NPR Morning Edition) that the
Supreme Court has upheld the Morton Grove gun control ordinance.
This should make clear to doubters that the Bill of Rights does not
and never has said that regulation of the protected rights is not
permitted. I can hope that it will lead to renewed pressure for
national gun control (hey, I'm not blind, I'm just hoping, not
expecting).
