A news broadcast last night (INN, I believe) said we claim 17 instances
of Soviet overflights so far this year; 14 over Alaska and 3 over the
East Coast of the U.S.  The USSR says that we've done the same to them
a few times this year also.

I think this illustrates our differences in tolerance.  We allow CCCP
warplanes safe passage out if they go over our landmass, but god forbid
a civilian plane doing the same to the Soviets.
