Lines: 13 regarding having your phone ask for the caller's id: There is a magic box someone makes that does ask for a "password" before letting the caller through. The caller doesn't *have* to be on a touch-tone (tm) phone. I'm not sure, but it might have multiple passwords and 'ports', that is password one would get you the answering machine, password two would actually ring the phone, etc. Sounded like a nice toy.
