Lines: 27 A recent submission pertaining to trouble in a cordless telephone suggests: "..... BUT** don't fret! a tune up on your phone by the factory or someone who knows what the're doing will cure your problem." Cordless telephones, CB radios, and marine radios contain radio transmitters. Their design must be type accepted by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). According to the FCC, service on these units, as well as other transmitting equipment (other than ham radio equip- ment), MUST be performed by, or under the direct supervision of the holder of an FCC Radiotelephone License 2nd Class or higher. Holders of these licenses are required to pass FCC tests in communications, electronics, and radio regulations. -- ============================================================================ Robert S.
