Speaking of Bkll the Cat - did anyone notice that Berke Breathed is
thinking about quitting Bloom County?  It seems the Washington Post
Syndicate wanted to put his characters on some drink glasses as part
of e promotional scheme at some fast food place.  Berke, who has
no rights to the characters (love those contracts) is understandably
annoyed at this.
