The WRITER'S WORKBENCH system group is looking for 2 C programmers who are interested in the English language. Either undergraduate or graduate degrees in computer science are fine. A background in areas relevant to language analysis, such as linguistics, psycholinguistics, or technical writing, as well as programming, would be ideal. Currently the department is in Piscataway, NJ, but it is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in January. It will remain part of Bell Labs after the divestiture.
