A funny thing happened at one of those
All You Can Eat restaurants. I went to
one for dinner near where I live; it
advertised "ALL YOU CAN EAT!" only $5.25.
I thought that was great since I was starving --
I felt like I could have eaten a horse. I went
in, paid my $5.25 in advance, and received a
heaping plate of spaghetti and meatballs. When
I finished the plate, I went back for seconds,
and they refused to serve me the second helping.
"Hey wait a minute!" I argued. "I thought your
sign outside said 'ALL YOU CAN EAT' for 5.25!!!!"
"Yes," replied the manager pointing to my plate,
"That's all you can eat for 5.25!!!!"
