Speaking of hilarious appeals from people trying to help Soviet Jews...

I got such a plea in the mail the other day, and in big letters on the
front was the expression:


	From the darkness they call us.


This might not seem funny to you, but if your parents or grandparents
are Yiddish speaking immigrants, you will recognize the obviously
Yiddish influenced sentence structure and realize that this could not
be a plea from any other ethnic group.

Yoda seems to talk this way, I wonder if he's a native Yiddish
speaker.
