MCI PLAN TO DELIVER MESSAGES, N.Y. Times, 9/23,
p.D4. MCI next Tuesday is expected to introduce
an electronic mail service allowing customers to
send messages written on their computers or word
processors. The messages either could be deliv-
ered over MCI communications lines to other com-
puters or be printed out and delivered through
mail or by courier. The service will compete
with message delivery giants such as the Postal
Service, Western Union, and Federal Express.
