I would slightly modify Lew's restatement of the problem so as to not
make it self referential.

I am going to give a quiz, subject to two conditions:

	1) It will be given during class one day this term.

	2) At no time prior to the quiz will it be possible
	   to infer (delete this -> from these conditions) that the quiz will
	   be given on a certain day.

I now claim that the conditions can both be met if the Prof. gives the test
on the 15th. If you can figure out a way to determine that the test will
be given on the 15th, prior to that date, please let me know. 

Is there still a condition not being met that I'm missing? 

(Even if #2 is still self referential, it seems that both conditions can be
satisfied.)
