In response to your response, I'm a dutan. I have trouble with the red-green part of the spectrum. However I also have trouble with brown-green-red distinguishing. 1) I never got a headache from the lense that I know of and I didn't have any "wandering eye" problems. 2) I use a terminal alot and I'm glad you brought that up. Most of the time I use a Tektronix 4051. With the lense on, the printing looked somewhat lit up or fluorescent. When I stopped wearing it I was surprised at the difference. I thought that what I had been seeing was normal. 3) I haven't thought about using any other type of tinted lense. I guess I'll continue to live not knowing what colors things are supposed to be. However I think that we are members of a genetically superior group. Who else could have an object change colors right before their eyes when going by it. It's like a visual doppler effect. 4) A word of warning if you get the lense. Be extremely careful when putting it in and removing it. I scratched mine when I popped it out and it went flying. Also you shouldn't fall asleep with it in, it can damage your eye. 5) As you must have discovered by now, having a color vision problem can be entertaining. People always enjoy laughing at you when you can't tell the color of something. aluxe!david1
