Lines: 17 I strongly support the creation of a 6809 system newsgroup. I usse a Coco, but discourage net.coc since (1) snobs consider the Coco a toy/game, (2) the Coco has nothing in common with the Z80 TRS models (black & white trash-80s?) except disk drive hardware, and (3) we want to pick up all those users of FLEX and OS-9 and FORTH on the GIMIX, SSB, SWTP, and other SS-50 machines, plus (4) a company (forget the name, sorry) is about to start selling OS-9 for the APPLEs with a 6809 plug-in board. With Radio Shack and Apple owners behind it, OS-9 may finally give CP/m what it deserves. One newsgroup can serve both 6809 and OS-9, since there is no other micro that can run OS-9. There is exactly one system under $2000 ($3000?) built around a 6809 -- under $800 with a disk, and that's the Coco. Can't wait -- mike k
