 I'm looking for information on the floppy disc controllers
currently in use by the various micro manufacturers and format
compatibility between them.  The object is to determine the
level of compatibility (physical, not file formats) between disks
written on different machines. My specific interest is with
what can be read with the NEC controller in an IBM-PC.

 Please send info via mail, and I'll  be glad to post a summary
if there is enough interest.  Thanks.
