Anyone out there have info on the US Robotics modems?
Specifically I would like comments regarding their Haye's compatible
212A Auto dial and Password modems.
Apparently the Password modem is supposed to be fully Hayes compatible
and $100 less than the 212A Auto dial model. In exchange for the
lower price , you trade off the Analog loop back test capability
and the full complement of LED readouts (DTR, CTS, etc.). Are those
two features worth $100?....Do they work well?...Are they REALLY software
compatible???
